The Opportunity
As a part of the Dealer Credit Administration Management team, the Dealer Credit Analyst I oversee the process of completing dealer wholesale inventory audits and/or, leads the team responsible for administration of consumer dealer accounts and ensures strict adherence to company risk management policies and guidelines. Responsibilities may include dealer interface/service; developing and driving a culture of continuous improvement; concentrating on areas of risk and loss prevention. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert to internal and external customers/matrix partners. Incumbent is in the process of developing basic skills. Almost all activities are transaction oriented (and not related to new business). A significant portion of time is spent on basic work (e.g., due diligence, document processing, financial/ statistical analysis).

- Personnel and self-development: Actively coach and mentor employees.

- Enhance profitability: Seek and act on opportunities to reduce operating costs.
- Ensure expenses are properly allocated to appropriate cost center.
- Continuously review and update process maps.
- Adhere to company policies/procedures and escalate any matters that are not compliant.
- Follow departmental processes to ensure established metrics are achieved, dealer and matrix partners' expectations are met and loss exposure is mitigated.
- Provide stakeholders frequent status updates and solicit feedback.
- Proactively work to resolve internal conflicts and develop effective working relationships.
- Manage Audit Administration: Ensure audit instructions and Ally policies are kept current and procedures are followed.
- Oversee the audit processes to ensure timely process flow, accurate completion and prompt communication of results to monitoring group.

Minimum Qualifications
- 0+ years of experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate / Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.
- 3 + years in financial services or similar industry is needed.
- Prior leadership experience is preferred.
- Education may be used as a proxy for experience.
- Perform technical tasks required to support ongoing business operations.
- Skilled technician in a hands-on environment, often highly specialized.
- Typically requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
- Strong analytic/problem solving skills required.
