Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

This role is on a hybrid schedule in our Charlotte only office. 

The Project Management Analyst II will be responsible for coordinating the Model Risk Project Management team’s tollgating processes and routines, documenting evidence of adherence to the governance processes and routines, and maintaining an overall model activity schedule. The prospective employee will serve as the liaison between the Model Risk Management (MRM) team and the Business Line Model Lifecycle participants.

The Work Itself

  • Maintain a listing of each model’s lifecycle phases and schedule tollgate review meetings.
  • Coordinate with Model Development team members to ensure all parties are on track with tollgating requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Review tollgating milestone deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct tollgating review meetings and record decisions and action items.
  • Monitor tollgating process flow to ensure adherence to identified control points for each model.
  • Maintain listing of model tollgating evidence and ensure documentation is properly stored.
  • Provide training and maintain tollgating processes, procedures, and training documentation.
  • Conduct post tollgating review evaluations to identify successful review elements and improvement areas.
  • Miscellaneous activities to support Model Risk Management team initiatives.

The Skills You Bring


  • 1 year of experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of Banking, Financial Service industries experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead meetings and translate meeting notes into clear and concise meeting minutes.
  • Strong project management skills (e.g., highly detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed, organized).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Teams, Excel, Visio, Word) with advanced PowerPoint presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with various levels of management and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to create partnerships across multiple skill sets and management levels, with strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
  • Superior attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities, quickly adapt to changing environments and requests, and follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to effectively challenge the status quo.

Base Pay Range: $55000 - $95000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
