The Work Itself
- Design and create monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc content for reporting deliverables across multiple audiences including the Board of Directors, the CEO, President of Dealer Financial Services, Executive Management Committees (ALCO, Risk Committee), and external regulators – understanding the key themes and translating technical and business drivers into clear and relevant communications and insights.
- Create effective written and visual communication on behalf of executives. Reporting deliverables including Business Review Updates, Ally Dealer Insights, Executive Leadership Meetings with key metric visualization charts, tables, graphs, and crisp communications.
- Partner and collaborate with internal teams to identify and gather reporting data inputs in a streamlined and repeatable manner.
- Gather accomplishments, risks, and metrics from business leaders and subject matter experts and assemble according to templates.
- Design and create new reporting deliverables, templates, and presentations (slides, documents, and spreadsheets) including status updates, regulatory reports, metric visualizations, etc.
- Drive standardization, automation, and process improvements within the executive reporting cadence.
- Support ad hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and strategic initiatives as needed.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Technology, or related field; MBA, CPA or CFA a plus.
- 1+ year of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analytics, etc.; experience in Auto Finance or Financial Services preferred
- Strong PowerPoint skills with proven ability to build and deliver executive-ready presentations with a focus on narrative and clarity
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, etc.)
- Experience with financial systems such as OneStream, Workday, PowerBI, a plus
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience translating complex/technical concepts into clear, relevant, and meaningful communications for non-technical audiences
- Experience analyzing data and using data to tell a story
