Spend your day teaching others, enriching careers, and positively impacting business results. Responsible for complex projects of varying scope as member or team leader. Aligns learning solutions to business requirements using adult learning theories and accepted design processes. Uses project management methodologies to ensure project completion according to requirements. Review and approve content submitted by project team members. Plays a visible leadership role and able to contribute to the formulation of business strategies.
The Work Itself
- Responsible for acquiring, building, and maintaining training material related to the automobile business, insurance, sales, and time management, including instructional design.
- Responsible for classroom training for P&C licensing, product training, sales training, and process training.
- Evaluate course effectiveness through evaluations, comprehension, and operational metrics.
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop sales staff.
- Occasional field travel (25%) to work with remote producers.
- CPCU curriculum completion required within 24 months of hire.
- Eventually teach in the classroom the CPCU curriculum.
- Collaborate with matrix partners and firms to build processes and related training.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development partners.
- Maintain ADI training regarding Ally Auto University.
- Represent ADI within Ally Financial.
The Skills You Bring
- Current P&C license required.
- 5+ years P&C outside sales experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
- History of training and/or project management.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- History of initiative and results orientation.
- Commitment to teamwork and professionalism.
