The Opportunity

The Affiliate Marketing Manager is a key position within the Digital Team of Ally Marketing and will be critical to managing new and existing partner relationships across business lines to grow customer acquisition. Delivering business goals through highly targeted click, lead and/or account campaigns through data-driven optimization/testing by partner, target, and user experience. 

The Work Itself

  • Manage existing partnerships and onboard new affiliates, with a focus on mortgage and invest, with plans to expand to deposits and other lines of businesses
  • Emphasis on establishing data accuracy/integrity with partners, and internal teams to measure campaigns based on full funnel ROI (Ex. click/lead to application to loan)
  • Monitor affiliate practices and negotiate/evaluate advertising agreements
  • Responsible for developing/evolving reporting for external/internal partners
  • Leads creative process with external agencies, 3rd party partners, and internal resources to deliver assets needed to implement programs, offsite and onsite
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, product, and storefront teams to leverage insights and learnings for developing testing plans for the affiliate channel
  • Work with analytics and research teams to understand customer profile insights and behaviors that help nurture affiliate marketing campaign strategies
  • Implement, measure, and optimize campaigns in a dynamic fashion based upon competitive offers, marketplace, business dynamics and performance trends
  • Establish, analyze, and publish reporting that presents campaign performance in an insightful/impactful manner, with clear reasons for actions taken
  • Be a subject matter expert and deliver ad hoc presentations to leadership as needed

The Skills You Bring

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in affiliate/partner and/or performance-based marketing

Creates cohesive digital marketing strategies, planning, and execution

Manages budgets, forecasts, accruals, contracts, insertion/purchase orders, etc.

Expert on conversion funnel metrics, analytics, and optimization levers

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or finance related field

Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint

SQL know-how preferred

    • Starting Pay: The starting pay for this role is $102,600 per year. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual bonus program with a target of 11% of annual base pay, based on individual and corporate performance. This is the starting pay for this role. Actual offers determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
